YORK Label Named Supplier of the Year by Tyson Foods

Omaha, NE, May 7, 2010 -- On April 22, 2010, YORK Label was named Tyson Food’s Supplier of the Year for the direct materials category.  The awards were presented at a recent luncheon at Tyson World Headquarters, which was attended by Tyson President and CEO Donnie Smith, Chief Operating Officer Jim Lochner and Group Vice President Hal Carper.  The recognition was based on continuous improvement contributions, performance surveys from Tyson locations, order fill rate and customer satisfaction performance, sales and technical support, ease of doing business and diversity support efforts.

YORK Label Acquires Southern Atlantic Label

Omaha, NE, January 4, 2010 --December 31, 2009, YORK Label announced its acquisition of Southern Atlantic Label.  Located in Chesapeake, Virginia, Southern Atlantic Label was founded in 1972 and employs 130 people.  Southern Atlantic Label has a reputation for high-quality products and strong relationships with long standing customers.

Southern Atlantic Label’s primary market segment is food including poultry, deli meats, cooking oils and sauces in addition to beverages, durable goods, healthcare and personal care; which align very well with YORK’s core markets. This acquisition will support YORK’s business plan to acquire companies that strengthen its position in the market and provide additional geographic footprint in the industry.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed but the transaction was 100% funded via new capital infusion by Diamond Castle Holdings (DCH) and YORK Label management.

YORK Label Announces Continued Investment in the Company

OMAHA, NE, August 24, 2009  --  YORK Label is pleased to announce that its private equity sponsor, Diamond Castle Holdings and the Company’s Management Team have successfully acquired $32M of YORK Label senior and subordinated debt and renegotiated favorable new terms and conditions with its banking partners. The transaction was completed August 12th.

As a result of this transaction, overall debt for YORK Label is significantly reduced and cash flow is further improved. The company will continue to invest in technology and manufacturing assets which bring exceptional value to its customers and drive profitable growth for YORK Label.

Some recent examples of new investment by YORK Label include:
-  Acquisition of 3 brand new “state of the art” label printing presses in its flagship York, PA facility.
-  Establishment of pharmaceutical label capacity in the U.S., complementing the existing capability in Canada. 
-  Facility investments to drive additional efficiency in its Canadian business.
-  Increased R&D spending to accelerate innovation with particular focus on graphic effects, environmental sustainability and late stage differentiation.

JOHN MCKERNAN APPOINTED AS PRESIDENT AND CEO OF YORK LABEL

OMAHA, NE, February 13, 2009 – YORK Label announced today that John P. McKernan has been named as President and CEO of the Company, effective March 2, 2009. YORK Label is a leading provider of high quality, innovative labeling and packaging solutions to global consumer products, wine and spirits, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage companies.

Mr. McKernan recently served as president of MeadWestvaco (MWV) Calmar, a global leader of dispensing solutions for the cosmetics, fragrance, home and garden, auto, personal care and pharmaceutical industries with revenues of approximately $500 million. As president of MWV Calmar since 2001, he worked closely with his leadership team to transform the business into a leading global enterprise with over 2,500 employees spanning four continents. He brings over 25 years of experience in the packaging industry.

Mr. McKernan was promoted to president of MeadWestvaco Calmar in 2001. He joined MeadWestvaco Calmar in 1996 as vice president and general manager and was later named executive vice president of the division. Prior to joining MWV Calmar, Mr. McKernan worked for Setco, a division of McCormick & Company, as vice president of sales and marketing and previously as vice president, engineering and new product development.

YORK Label Begins Partnership with Diamond Castle

OMAHA, NE, August 8, 2008 - LabelCorp Holdings, Inc. In June of this year, Diamond Castle, in partnership with YORK Label’s Senior Management Team, signed a definitive purchase agreement with Wind Point Partners of Chicago, Illinois.  YORK Label’s Senior Management Team will remain in place and maintain a significant ownership stake in the Company.

YORK Label Acquires Etiprak, S.A. and Etiquetas Industriales, LTDA

Omaha, NE, March 11, 2008 - YORK Label announced today it has acquired Etiprak, S.A. through its Cameo-Marinetti joint venture, and a 50% interest in Etiquetas Industriales Ltda., both located in Santiago, Chile.
These Chilean acquisitions  provide the platform for YORK Label to continue its aggressive expansion path to become a global provider of premium and innovative labeling solutions. Combined with our existing Cameo-Marinetti joint venture, these acquisitions create the largest single provider of label products in the Chilean market.
Founded in 1982, Etiprak was the first Chilean company to produce pressure sensitive labels for the wine industry. Recognized for its high quality products and tremendous customer service reputation, Etiprak focuses primarily on the wine & spirits and consumer products markets. Its customers include several major Fortune 100 companies. In 2007, the company began the manufacturing of decorative shrink sleeve labels. Etiprak employs state-of-the-art equipment and technology which features high-end combination flexo, screen, foil stamping, embossing and laminating.
Etiquetas Industriales produces premium pressure sensitive labels primarily for the consumer products market. YORK Label Acquires Cameo Crafts and Package Service Company
Industry-leading YORK adds PSC and Cameo to growing list of acquisitions

Omaha, NE, October 25, 2007 - YORK Label CEO Rich Egan announced today that YORK has completed the acquisitions of both Cameo Crafts and Package Service Company, LLC. YORK is a leading manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels with locations in El Dorado Hills, California, Omaha, Nebraska, Asheville, North Carolina and York, Pennsylvania. With the acquisitions of these two companies, YORK Label will become a multi-national company, approximately doubling the number of associates and increasing in size from five to 11 state-of-the-art facilities.

Cameo Crafts is an innovative, solutions-oriented leader in high-end decorative labeling and packaging technologies based in Canada and the US. Cameo specializes in the pharmaceutical and wine and spirits markets, and has three facilities in Montreal Canada, one facility in Toronto, Canada, and one facility in Sonoma, California. Cameo Crafts will operate as Cameo Crafts, a YORK Label Company.

Package Service Company (PSC) is a pressure-sensitive label company located in Kansas City, Missouri. PSC specializes in four core markets: personal care, beverages, household products, and food. PSC has one facility, which will become YORK Label, Kansas City.

Simultaneous to the closing of these two transactions, York Label has also purchased a 50% ownership in a joint venture with Marinetti Packaging. The joint venture will operate under the name of Cameo Marinetti and is located in Santiago, Chile.
